Shasta. First, most of you don't know that Susan taught three
of us die-hards her 9-part method of prayer on my last day there.
I said a prayer for creating healing centers and more income.
I had discussed with God that I could open a clinic if the rent
was only $200 per month-otherwise I couldn't afford it. Well,
as soon as I got home, my housemate told me that a naturopath
in town had called. We had never met, but he wanted to go into
business with me, and the office space next to his is open for-guess
what--$200 per month for a 400 sq ft space. So I had lunch with
him and we started setting things up."

to 3:30 p.m.: SWEAT LODGE or SPA AFTERNOON: Special
Sweat Lodge ceremony, led by a Native American medicine men and
women, including planetary prayers, drumming circle, smudging,
and celebration for the earth. You may bring drums for drumming
at the campfire before the sweat begins. Your participation in
the sweat is optional but is included in the price of your retreat.
Dress code
for the sweat lodge: women must wear shorts, long pants, or skirts,
and tee shirts rather than bathing suits. Men may wear swimming
trunks. Those who do not participate in the sweat lodge may enjoy
massages and baths at the spa. No women on their menses are allowed
inside the sweat lodge.
Stewart Mineral
Springs is nestled in a spectacular forest canyon where the sun
shines through the cedar, fir and pine trees surrounding Parks
Creek, a pure rushing mountain stream. These waters
not only have healing properties but the water is unique in its
chemical and electromagnetic vibration. It was
originally discovered and used as a sacred healing spot by Native
Americans. The mineral springs are to this day considered
to be some of the most powerful healing waters of the world.
The therapeutic
mountain retreat was founded in 1875 by Henry Stewart who was
brought to the medicine grounds ailing and on the verge of death.
He regained his health and atributed it to the miraculous healing
qualities of the waters and the spiritual environment that surrounds
the springs. Belief is strong within the Native American
tribes that the mineral springs should always be shared. People
come from all over the world to bath in this mineral water as
there are many stories of miraculous healings. This site
has many spirits of the native ancestors that can be seen
and experienced. This mountainous area is also well-known for
UFO's, light beings, guardians and nature divas.
