Do you now want to experience the awesome Himalayan mountains, the most sacred mountains on earth? Because on our amazing Himalayan Ecodrive Trek, we will have that rare opportunity in an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime experience.

A look at the map of Himachal Pradesh shows that the road from Kinnaur makes a 200 km detour to reach the valleys of western Spiti, traveling along the Satluj and Spiti rivers. Spitians from these valleys have always taken a 70 km short cut to Shimla by crossing the Bhaba Pass, which directly descends to Wangtu via Kafnu village in Kinnaur, through Bhaba Valley.

Nature has showered its rich bounty on the Bhaba valley. Our trek takes us through dense foliage and colourful meadows afire with mountain flowers. The trail passes through the fields of Kafnu, crosses the Bhaba Nala and continues along the left bank. The trail is fairly wide and well marked. The riverside meadow of Mulling is and unusual sight with carpet like alpine flowering in the season. There is romance in nature and fragrance fills the air.

The valley opens up at Kara Lake showing several snow-clad peaks and one can see ridge merging together. It is difficult to believe that this kind of place exists!

OUR SETUP

Beautiful color coordinated and eco friendly tents in the wilderness will be permanently pitched at all the camp sites. Proper mattresses in every tent will be provided for insulation. A rare and authentic opportunity to live in our warm & cozy sleeping bags to get that punch of the real adventure spirit. Our dining tents with buffet laid out with a variety of mouth-watering cuisines would tempt the gastronomic delights of the guest.

MANAGEMENT

All the camp leaders at every campsite will be qualified mountaineers with the highest level of merit course. We guarantee the highest level of quality commitment from the management. Apart from being 100% professionals, they will be caring human beings, who will make your trip a memorable experience for you to return to us every time.

MEDICAL FACILITIES

Facilities for proper medical aid will be available at every camp throughout the trek. However, those on special medication or with known drug allergies should bring their own necessary medicines. People having Asthma, heart problems or any other problem should not participate strictly. You are requested to inoculate yourself with Tetanus, Cholera & Typhoid vaccinations.

Extensive and painstaking preparations have gone into the planning of trek route to keep you safe. Our well qualified & experienced camp leaders have been visiting the area to check all the details. While every care has been taken to ensure your safety, Mystical Journeys (India) Private Limited cannot be held responsible for any accident, illness and such other unforeseen events.
 
KEEP THE HIMALAYAS CLEAN

Every participant will ensure that the trekking trail is kept neat and clean. We discourage use of plastics, ploy bags, non biodegradable products and any non eco friendly products as our payback to nature.

	Day 2         Delhi to Shimla Leave Delhi at 6:30 pm for Shimla by 2X2 Deluxe Coach (Overnight bus journey)     Shimla, situated in the north-west Himalayas, Shimla, the summer capital of India during the pre-independence era, is now the capital of Himachal Pradesh. Shimla town is spread over the ridge measuring about 12 km. On the off shoots of the central crescent shaped ridge, are located its suburbs. Shimla is perhaps the biggest hill station or hill town of the world at its height 2206 metres. At one time its base ridge had the thickest forests of the area, now its green slopes, covered with firs, pines, rhododendron, the Himalayan oak and the foliage are dotted with houses and buildings.

	Day 11     Kafnu to Shimla to Delhi Kafnu to Shimla by mountain bus. After dinner, Shimla to Delhi by 2X 2 Deluxe Coach. Day 11     OPTIONAL TOUR: Base Camp to Sarahan to Transit Camp In the morning, visit Bhimakali Temple at Sarahan (full day at Sarahan) and proceed to Transit Camp. Bhimakali Temple: A marvelous example of hill architecture, the temple complex is 800 years old, set against the incredibly beautiful backdrop of high ranges and forested slopes. Built in a mixture of the Hindu and Budhists styles, it was the temple of Bushair rulers of Rampur. The palaces of the royal family are adjacent to the temple. From Sarahan there is a view of the Srikhand Peak, revered as the home of goddess Lakshami.    Sarahan (2165 m): The Gods were generous when they gave Sarahan its setting. Located halfway up a high mountain side, the road to Sarahan winds past flowering jacaranda trees that give way to stately pines. Above Sarahan, a mane of doedar trees ride the slopes and higher still, encircling the Bashal peak, are trees of smooth birch and a variety of wild flowers and rare medicinal herbs. Here is the famous Bhimakali temple - regarded as one of the fifty-one sacred Shaktipeeths'. The temple's unusual architecture and wealth of carvings have made it a resplendent example of what is generally called the "Indo Tibetan Style."   Bhimakali Temple is built in Indo-Tibetan architectural style, it is one of the finest examples of Himachali architecture and is dedicated to Lord Narsingha and Lord Raghunath. This temple is the main attraction of the region and is decorated silver. Apart from the main deities, this temple has images of various Hindu and Buddhist Gods. It is also one of the last few surviving temples made entirely of timber. Lanka Vir Temple: Situated next door to the Bhimakali temple, this was where human sacrifices were made long ago to please Goddess Bhimakali. The bodies were apparently thrown into the well nearby. Shrikhand Manadev Peak: Once in Sarahan, one beholds a range of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks and one of them is the Shrikhand Peak. The rather peculiar thing about this peak is that it is only one whose tip remains uncovered with snow. In the evening, sunrays adorn the peaks and the sight is simply stupendous.
	Day 12    Arrive Delhi Arrive Delhi in the morning and program finishes.
